What to Bring on Your Fishing Charter All persons 17 years of age or older must have an "all-species fishing license" One day licenses are available - both residents & nonresidents - $7 or $3 for seniors (65 or older) (Non-residents pay the same $7 daily rate whether or not they are seniors). Lake Michigan can be chilly, even on those hot August days. Remember to bring a jacket, wear soft sole shoes, bring your camera and film, sun tan/block lotion, motion sickness medicine (if needed).
